USING THE 88 & 25
AUTOPATCHES
Currently, the autopatches are
DOWN! NOT WORKING!
88 Bridger Repeater:
Make sure frequency is clear.
Give your callsign and say that you are accessing the autopatch.
Key Tx & Enter TT: * Then Unkey Tx.
WAIT for Dial tone to Drop (stop).
Key Tx & Enter 7 digit phone number, then Unkey Tx.
WAIT (and wait), eventually you will hear the phone ringing.
IF the patch gives ID w/o ringing it means the phone line the autopatch
uses is in use.
It is a SIMPLEX autopatch, it cannot hear you when it is transmitting.
Disconnect Autopatch by Keying Tx and entering TT: # Then unkey Tx.
Give your callsign for ID and say that you are now clear of the autopatch. |
145.250 Repeater:
Make sure frequency is clear.
Give your callsign and say that you are accessing the autopatch.
Key Tx & Enter TT: *1234567 (7 digit phone number)
Unkey Tx
The repeater will say: AUTOPATCH
Key Tx IMMEDIATELY for 1/2 second & Unkey.
If you wish to hear the readback of the number
you dialed, wait after the word AUTOPATCH for
the readback by the controller THEN key the Tx for 1/2 second.
The Autopatch will execute the call.
Disconnect Autopatch by Keying Tx and entering TT: # Then Unkey.
Give your callsign for ID and say that you are now clear of the autopatch. |
